MOT & TYRES
MOT (Class 4 - Normal Vehicles)
As an accredited MOT testing station we cater to vehicles of all sizes. Our comfortable waiting room, equipped with sofas, TV’s and freshly ground coffee are available for you to sit in comfort whilst we carry out your MOT. Usual MOT’s tend to take between 30 mins and 1 hour.
YOUR MOT. WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Just bring your vehicle to our MOT centre in Sheffield and we’ll assign you a dedicated MOT tester. They’ll then keep you up to date as to the progress of your MOT at each stage; over the phone or via email; whichever you prefer.
FAILED YOUR MOT? DON'T WORRY!
If your vehicle does not meet the standard set out by the DVSA it will fail its MOT. At this point your dedicated MOT tester will provide you with a full report, detailing each reason for failure; along with the costs to put everything right again.
Once we’ve put everything right again, we’ll happily retest your vehicle for free.
Frequently Asked Questions
We don’t expect you to know everything about MOT’s so we’ve put together a few commonly ask questions and answers below to put your mind at ease.
I can't remember my MOT date, what do I do?
Go to https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status and complete your vehicle details; you’ll soon find out what the date is. If you get stuck, give us a call and we’ll be happy to check for you.
When should I book my MOT?
An MOT can be carried out up to one calendar month prior to the expiry date of your existing MOT certificate, whilst still preserving the anniversary of the expiry date. If you have your test carried out a month before the due date, your MOT is effectively valid for 13 months.
